Grass Upgrade!

Artificial Grass had the pleasure of installing our artificial grass on the
playground of Benhall Pre-School in Cheltenham.Benhall Pre-School has been open since May 1972 and has quite the colourful history.
It was completely destroyed by a fire in April 1986 and the present building was reopened in March 1988.
After
being contacted by the Primary School in Cheltenham, we immediately knew how
the school could benefit hugely from our artificial grass.
The playground was originally patchy and unflattering, due to the original real grass being so hard to maintain.
After carefully assessing the playground, it was time to get started on the transformation!
We
started by digging away the old turf and leveling the ground to make a perfect
canvas, ready for our artificial grass.
We then successfully installed around 100m2 of our striped artificial grass,
and for extra durability and safety, we decided to add shock pads underneath
the grass. Shock pads are an increasingly popular extra for clients wanting to
keep their children and elderly safe by adding extra cushioning. This is very
effective, especially in school playgrounds, because it makes the ground softer
and bouncier. Our shock pads make for a more comfortable and safer surface for
children to play on.
The feedback we had from the school and the children has been amazing. Everyone there loves the new Gorilla Artificial Grass and those that we dealt with at the Pre-School were delighted with the communication and customer care provided by the team. They praised our great service from the pre-sales call, right the way through to the fitting service and after-care!
